#Commitment - Is it in You?
Committing to #Health, or #lifestyle, the #gym, #love, your #work, your #children, whatever it is you commit to how do you make it work and or last?
When John asked me this today I immediately thought back to the moment I decided then committed to my mental, physical and spiritual health! 110% in no looking back, only to get better everyday as I learned more everyday!
This type of commitment then spilled into other area's of my life as well. It's far from easy but in truth has just become a way of life. And for myself one factor in determining my commitment is the WHY behind it. If it's for something larger than just mu ego...then it usually work's it's way into my routine, then it become habit and then apart of my lifestyle!
John himself talked about his re commitment to training again for another #Ironman and how that came out of the want to be better for himself and as well as the #love he has for the #sport.
He also mentioned the #mental #difficulty he, and I am sure we all will face that sometimes you just do not 'feel' like it... example he was tired yesterday and knew he had a 2 hour ride on his bike that needed to get done. He said to himself ok I commit to 30 minutes and let's see where it goes from there, 2 hours later he felt amazing!
