Being of Service to Others

Our talk today is about the bigger picture — that next level #purposeand service to others.

When John Barrett asked me today about being of service to others I immediately remembered a movie we had watched back in my #sotozen class a few years ago. About how in Japan the older generations those whom were retired and later on in life where active in teaching and playing with the youth the pre school age children.

Such a different way of thinking and doing from our side of the world where our elders go into an old age home. So how does this relate to being of service.

Because we wake up with a purpose...a reason...an energy and mindset that there is something more important than just ourselves. Yes, at the base level we will all dropping or at least put #ego to the side.

Each one of us is capable of this with family, at work, and social gatherings. It is mandatory to take care of ourselves first, but it is also in our best interest to be of service to those around us it is like the circle of life!

We have a built a #community that has supported us and grown with us, so yes there are times we are tired, or not in the mood, but we have a responsibility not only to ourselves but to our community to show up and be better...to be of services!

This is a fact every single time we are not feeling it 110% (which is rare by the way) the minute we go live to air...it feels amazing so the proof is in the pudding - it feels so good to be of service!
